Josh Smith, a Knoxville native, earned his Juris Doctor from Lincoln Memorial University Duncan School of Law after graduating summa cum laude from the University of Tennessee, Knoxville, with a master’s degree in Social Work. His background working with youth and families in the justice system deepened his understanding of how legal challenges affect everyday lives and strengthened his commitment to helping others navigate them.

Since joining Carrasco Trump, PLLC in 2025, Josh has been actively involved in the firm’s immigration and employment law practices. He approaches his work with diligence and empathy, ensuring that each matter receives thoughtful preparation and careful analysis. Known for his collaborative nature and strong work ethic, Josh is dedicated to achieving meaningful results.

Outside the office, Josh devotes his time to his family and values the support and perspective they provide. Grounded in faith and strong family ties, he brings that same sense of purpose, integrity, and compassion to his work, striving to serve others with excellence and care.
